Exhibit: SALON 2012: Annual non juried exhibition of members small works at GCCA Catskill Gallery, 398 Main St., Catskill. Also featuring, the Artful Hand Holiday Boutique in the second floor gallery – handmade toys, ceramics, wearables, jewelry and glass as well as books and CDs by local authors and musicians. Exhibit: UNCLE REMUS REDUX: Contemporary Visions of How Time Goes by Turns, curated Randall Horton and Sam Truitt. Projects from artists and artist/writer collaborative teams responding to Uncle Remus’ Br’er Rabbit stories, a collection of African American oral folktales first published in 1881. Free presentation of features, shorts & animated masterpieces made mostly by MFA students and recent graduates of top film/video programs around the country.
