Some Enchanted Evening . . .

This past October 1st, old friends and new friends met and shared their memories and the magic of the 30th Anniversary Celebration of the founding of the Greene County Council on the Arts. Over 110 people attended this milestone event hosted by Dr. Hugh and Mrs. Clementine Butts at their home, Salisbury Manor

The day was bright and clear as only an early fall day can be. As guests arrived they were treated to champagne, hors d’ouevres, and a tour of Salisbury Manor, an historic 1730 stone manor house overlooking the graceful peaks of Black Head and Windham Mountains.

The evening was sublime. Music and laughter filled the air. An elegant sit down dinner catered by Glen Sanders Mansion was followed by hours of dancing to the tunes of the Swing Docs. It was truly an evening to remember. As one guest exclaimed, “It was like Tinker Bell was in attendance dispensing her magic!”
