GCCA Annual Garden Party

Live Music! Great Food! LIVE Auction and More. Spend an afternoon with GCCA Members and Friends and Support the Arts, too!

Greene County Council on the Arts invites everyone to our Annual Garden Party fundraiser at the historic riverside estate, Beattie-Powers Place, on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Join the GCCA Board of Directors and staff members as they host a late summer afternoon gathering with fellow members and friends celebrating the GCCA and its important mission and programs, its Membership, Donors and Artists! In addition to a catered late summer luncheon buffet catered by Maggie’s Krooked Café, The Christine & Elliot Spero Duo will perform live “jazzy bluesy style” music from 1:00 to 3:00 pm followed immediately by a LIVE Auction of select GCCA Artists Members’ original artwork. Village of Catskill President and Auctioneer Extraordinaire Vinney Seeley takes the podium promptly at 3pm.  Plus there will be local hand crafted beers and Hudson-Chatham Winery artisanal wines “on tap” and a Silent Auction featuring specialty items donated by our generous business community and local artisans.

Bring the entire family! Children are welcome and will find fun with a few hoola-hoops, jump ropes and kites. The lovely grounds surrounding the Beattie-Powers Place alllows one a sense of calm and wonder. The historic property overlooks the mighty Hudson River and Rip Van Winkle Bridge and provides the perfect setting for an amazing mid-September afternoon.

Advance Tickets are $40 for GCCA Members and guests and $50 for Non-Members. Please don’t delay as $5 more is charged at the gate. Reservations may be made online at www.greenearts.org or by a calling GCCA at 518-943-3400.

The GCCA Annual Garden Party is made possible through the kindness of the Friends of Beattie-Powers Place and generous sponsorships provided by Big Top Tent Rentals, Fingar Insurance, Hudson-Chatham Winery and other friends like you.
