A Night of Performed Words with Stephanie Barber, Lea Bertucci, and others

Stephanie Barber’s Dialogs is a hybridized multi-disciplinary work that manifests in the written word, the performed word, and cinema. Friends and strangers, actors and non-actors, read Barber’s bifurcated poems. (short performance scores) (imagined conversations) (miniature plays) in disparate places and compositions.
Kimberly Alidio (she/they) is the author of 4 books of poetry, including Teeter, to be published July 2023. Her video, sound, and visual poetry appear in FIVES, Bæst, Juf, Anamorphoseis. Two text-visual poems, commissioned by Nicole Eisenman, Hauser & Wirth, and The Poetry Project, are forthcoming in Ursula.
Artist Talk, with Lea Bertucci, Ben Vida, and Ric Royer, is not an artist talk, but uses the tropes, gestures, and language of one, to create a deconstructed sound and text piece that answers the question: “Do we really re we?”
