GCCA Members’ Annual Exhibit-Salon 2017 & Handmade Holidays: Affordable Fine Art & Crafts Exhibition and Sale. The public is invited to celebrate the season and meet the artists at the opening reception on Saturday, November 18 from 5 to 7 PM at the GCCA Catskill Gallery. Salon 2017 offers a wide variety of artworks: original drawings, paintings, prints, photographs and sculptures measuring 24 inches or less. Shop early! The best treasures disappear from the walls as they are purchased. Come back often! We replace the sold items with new work promptly.

49 Spring Street Open House & Pop Up Exhibit-A Benefit for the GCCA Visual Arts Program: Imagine viewing contemporary art in a spacious Victorian village home built in 1861 as a parsonage for the only church designed by artist Thomas Cole, who lived and worked only steps down the street. Fawn Potash and Paul Smart open their home to artist friends who will mount original artwork throughout the three story home designed with high ceilings, wood floors, three fireplaces, dormers, window seats, and period details. Participating artists including Nancy Azara, Darla Bjork, Matt Bua, Dan Burkholder, Jill Skupin Burkholder, Peggy Cyphers, Tasha Depp, Barry Gerson, Alon Koppel, Jim Krewson, Paula Lalala, Norm Magnusson, Claudia McNulty, Eva Melas, Portia Munson, Art Murphy, Fawn Potash, Melinda Stickney-Gibson, Beth Schneck and Val Shaff.

“Pay-What-You-Can” during the Open House & Pop Up Art Exhibit. Those who make a donation of $25 or more will receive a packet of Library Series (12 notecards) by Fawn Potash, fine art photographer and former GCCA Visual Arts Director. From 1- 4 pm both days. GCCA Annual Holiday Potluck: Every year GCCA thanks its Volunteers, Members and Donors at its annual Potluck at the GCCA Catskill Gallery. Bring your favorite dish to share with others. GCCA will serve some very festive holiday food fancies and “seasoned” libations. Noon to 3 PM. Please let GCCA know if you are able to attend and the signature dish you will be bringing. GCCA Annual Membership Meeting: Join GCCA Members at our Catskill Gallery in Catskill, NY for the Annual Membership Meeting of the Greene County Council on the Arts, now in its 42nd year of service to the community. The official meeting will take place at 4 p.m. just before the opening reception (5-7 p.m.) for the first of the 2018 exhibits at the GCCA Catskill Gallery.
