Decentralization Community Art Grant Program

The 2020 DEC Cycle is now closed. The 2021 DEC Grant Application and Guidelines will be available in June 2020, and will be due in September, 2020, for projects held during 2021.

CREATE Council on the Arts administers funds from the New York State Council on the Arts for Columbia, Greene, and Schoharie Counties through the Decentralization (DEC) Community Art Grant Program. Three funding programs are available through the DEC program: the Community Art Project Grant, the Arts Education Grant, and the Individual Artist Commission.

The Community Art Grants program is administered in Greene, Columbia, and Schoharie Counties by Greene County Council on the Arts with funds from the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Program with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
