NEW! Sound… Crescent Hound Collaborative Sound-Art Project
Multi-media artist Heather L. Martin of Martin Arts, recording as Crescent Hound, is seeking seven collaborators for a project in experimental sound. Using an exquisite corpse style process, participants will layer sounds, not knowing what the final composition (compositions) will be until the project is complete. Participants are encouraged to use found sounds, and digital editing techniques. Youth Chorus…. Open Audition for Young Singers ages 8-18. St. Luke’s Episcopal Church at 50 William Street in Catskill, NY announces the formation of a Treble Choir for young people, male and female in the English cathedral tradition. This is an audition only choir under the direction of Ann Carter-Cox, M.F.A. In addition to weekly group instruction and practice, every young person accepted into the program will receive an additional half hour individualized voice lesson each week.
