Gerard Malanga // Moments in Time :: 1965-2023
The Friends of Beattie-Powers Place is thrilled to present Gerard Malanga's "Moments in Time :: 1965-2023." The exhibition is presented in collaboration with curator/designer Martina Salisbury.
The intimate salon installation features a selection of over 60 of Gerard Malanga’s photographs of some of the most illustrious artists, musicians, literary figures, and other cultural icons of the last six decades. A rare opportunity to see Malanga's photographs in person, many of the portraits appear in this exhibition for the first time.
An opening reception will be held on Sunday, 15 October from 2-5pm; at the event, Malanga will give a reading of recent poems followed by a Q&A, starting at 4pm.
The exhibition will be on view Saturdays, 12-4pm, from 21 October through 10 December 2023.
